I like the Price is Right.

After a long day selling shoes, I like to watch simple stuff on TV, while Wanda is fixing me supper.  I don't like confuzzing shows like Access Hollywood.  Keeping Paris and Hohan straight is too hard.  just simple for me.
Bob Barker is a awesum host, and if you can guess the prizes of the items you can actually win big!  If you're a contestant on the televison...

Hate to burst your bubble, A, but Drew Carey is now the host of The Price is Right. Barker retired earlier this year.

WHAT!?!? NOOOOOOOOOOO. I like drew carey, but nooooooo.

Who can you think of that could be a suitable replacement? I'm interested to see how this one works out.

they could've gotten the one and only amanda palmer to host the show. actually if you think about it, what if they did get her to host the show?

BBC America is on the Direct TV package that I recently hooked up.  In addition to Absolutely Fabulous which I have missed since they stopped airing it on Comedy Central years ago, I now get to watch The Brittish version of The Office.  I saw it for the first time last night.  It is hilarious.  I think that the American version is  just as good , but in a different way. Coupling is also quite good.

let me know how you like arrested development zephyr.  i personally think the second season is best, but the first is damn near perfect in my book.
1 month & 3 seasons of Arrested Development later, and I agree with you. It's a very good show (maybe not the best, but close). I also think season 2 is the best, closely followed by season 1. Season 3 wasn't as good, so maybe it's good that it ended when it did. Another thing is that I don't think I would have liked it as much if I had watched it on TV, you know, a new episode each week. Now I usually watched 2 or more episodes back to back, so... I don't know. it's very good!

you know, due to my boyfriend's inability to continue the flow of thoughts into his mind, i have been watching television while at his house. his excuse? he needs ambient noise. a reason not to think. a wind down. he deserves to suffer his brain cells after building them up with productive activities during the day.

whatever.

i have only found one show so far that caught my interest. it's on the Food Network. ummmm, Dinner: Impossible. that's a great show.
