just because you don't like something somebody does in public, doesn't mean the world will stop doing it. Rats, it was absolutely wrong of you to get a girl in trouble, simply because she clips her fingernails, and you don't like it. if i ever found out that a person got me in trouble for doing something petty, and they also lied about it, i would take them out back, and beat them. at least if i beat a person, then when i get in trouble for it, it will be something i actually did that was actually wrong.

I didn't get her in trouble.  I just had an issue that I brought to the attention of my manager.  And I did not find a nail clipping in my cubicle but I have seen them in the aisle way occassionally.
And that is gross.  It is a conservative work environment, not out in public exactly.
And she does it constantly, not just once a month or whatever. I dont know how she has any nails left.
Whether it's petty or not  , I dont feel bad.  I know a lot of people were thinking about it with out doing it and my manager thought it was inappropriate to do at work as well. 
There was no getting in trouble involved, I can assure you.  My work isnt like that, she was just told not to do it anymore.  That's it.   I didnt feel comfortable telling her myself, and that is what management is there for. 
And as for lying, bah.

Dangah/Sethie: i'm sorry about feeling this way, but it's not for a meaningless reason i grew up around my dad's family, and they smoked everywhere, at any time, for whatever reason. it was always very painful to inhale that smoke. so in my response, i'd have to say that i don't care where you smoke. either it's harmful for me, or it's harmful for you. there is no higher ground, there is no taking back my statements. it's disgusting. the people who do it aren't disgusting. the habit, itself, it putrid.

i can't even stand to sit at a bus bench that has butts. i will kick them off, and out of my site. i have attempted to smoke several times, and each time i found it to be even more filthy. of the ten cigarettes i have smoked, which were in the same month, and should have honestly gotten be addicted, i found no pleasure in them. much later, i realized i hadn't been inhaling (thank god for my lungs), and when i inhaled a couple, it tasted like rotten tar in my mouth. nope, can't understand the habit, and won't tolerate it.

if nothing else, of the few times i have smoked weed, at least that tasted okay, and it made me giggle.

Oh nonono, I'm not at all offended... I'm just sayin', you know? I wish the entire smoking population were polite about their habit. I wish everyone carried around an empty tin to put butts in. I wish people would not smoke around children, especially when they cannot escape the smoke. I wish they would stop acting like they were being persecuted and start being responsible. I'm a smoker, and I hate smokers.
I dislike weed. I think it tastes, smells, and feels bad. To each his own, I suppose...

People in my college get a 50 bucks fee if they are smoking, they are just allowed to smoke in the patio and it´s good at least for me (i don´t smoke) and for some smokers it makes them smoke less... which should be good right?
