Orange is the new black by Piper Kerman.

It's really interesting, even if it's not as adventure filled as the TV show...yet.

The Shadow of the Wind by Zafón. It's magical.

He turned that into a sort of trilogy. The Angel's game is next and this year he released the Prisoner of Heaven. I've only read the first two, and they're both amazing reads!. I've also read the Prince of Mist by the same author, and it was a thrilling dark fairytale!

I'm definitely gonna read the whole trilogy, thank you for the tip! The Shadow of the Wind was one of the best books I've ever read.

I just finished The Angel's Game. What a great book! Zafón astonishes me.

I read the first two back to back and I remember liking The shadow of the wind more, but still the Angel's game was also fantastic!

It took me a while to get into it, but once I did, it ended up being a pretty good book

I adored the Shadow of the Wind but I was quite disappointed by the Angel's Game. It just didn't grip me the way Shadow did.

I'm currently re-reading The Book Thief. It's been years since I read it and I somehow forgot how good it is.

Guys, never, ever read And the Mountains Echoed because afterwards, you'll be in a state of shock and then you realize that you can never make something so wonderful.

Never read any of Khaled Hosseni's other books for fear of similar feeling

Exactly! It's a vicious cycle. It's so not fair! Ever other writer might as well give up!

Reading the ball of devastation that is Dave Cullen's Columbine. I've just gotten up to the part where he discusses the events of the attack itself, and have just realised it's Guy Fawkes night. It's actually pretty disconcerting hearing the fireworks in the background of this particular part.
