Simple rule:
Don't do anything that, when (notice I didn't say "if") it comes out, will offend the
sensibilities of the person whose affections you seek.

It's also a good idea to avoid shit that's really gonna piss you off when it's turned on you,
but to some folks that's just fair... back to the original question...

the guy that i'm semi-interested in has a girlfriend. but we still flirt and whatnot.
i don't think i'd do anything sexual with him though. i'd feel too bad about it.
but i highly doubt that his current relationship is going to last...we'll see...

dont chase someone who is taken.
in the end you will just make an ass out of yourself and then not talk to the person often.
it will be really awkward and then you will develop a hate for them. and hate is never a good thing

i wouldn't say that i'm chasing him. we're just casually talking/flirting.

Flirting is virtually always ok.

It's all okay as long as they're not married.

Me and my boyfriend have got to the point that we're just friends again.... In my mind, anyway. I haven't told him yet, because I don't want to break up with him, but it has to be done. It's got to the point that I'm treating new guys I meet as prospective date material, which I haven't done in years. I mean, i fell in love with a Polish guy at the weekend- the guy looked like christian bale! But I would never cheat on anyone.

MAn I hate breaking up with people.

Psst: Did I mention that I tried my damndest to break up Vic and his last girlfriend? And that he regrets not dumping her and dating me straightaway?

While all is fair in love and war (and coffee), you still have to live with being a horrible person.
