I swear I did not see the intro video with the pics of CLUE items until just now in the bulletin...hope it is still ok to use as an overall concept for the group brigade piece in chgo...already have a blowup doll and clear plastic tarp to wrap it in, and pres on nail with R under it...just need to procure a toy knife and gun and then we have all the clue murder items...a few of us will also be inhabited by BOB at one time or another...but we will not reveal whodunnit til day of show...8/08 which looks like it spells BOB and sparked the entire idea for me-well that and the vodka I imbibed yesterday!

that was my idea...incorporating each brigader as a CLUE character...so yes I love it...that being said...

the brigade is on it's own for chgo...not my place to speak of the rest...pretty sure NYC circus/ creative tent is all set...as for Canada...canadian girls are hot and taste good...ummm yeah i just totally got distracted...they also have better beer and yummier cigarettes...
still distracted...

on its own means no comps(we buy our tickets and give them away whilst brigading when comp'ed) I will still have at least 1 ticket to give away-i love doing that.  I will sacrifice 2 shots of vodka if need be...omg did I just say that?! hahahah

and food is so over rated...just kidding.

OK so CHICAGO BRIGADE:  We are on our own...that is fine...rock/art love does not require guidance...sorta makes me wanna show up as a  naked fire breather but I wILL not...will still need to respect the venue...it is a busy almost corner in chgo on a fri night...

So, let's ALL be in touch...let's talk, play, brigade, and party later at our hotel...

thoughts, ideas, rock/brigade love welcome...

I (as long as Beth ok's it) will be stitling with you guys on the 8th.

Clue characters could be fun... But my costume's completely white...

I suppose I could get a black jacket, wear my black fedora with glasses, and a green cape and be Mr. Green.

Although really, as long as each of us has a weapon, and acts suspicious, I think they'll get it.

I have been in touch with Steven who is the contact re the brigade as Beth is not on this leg of the tour...here is the email I got from him:

"just so we are really clear : there is NO spare space at the venue to change or prepare and there are also unfortunately no guest list tickets available for the brigaders on this show sorry.  There isn't a tour manager for these shows in August so just show up and begin.  No one to talk to.

Stay tuned for the coming changes - we are currently in the process of re-thinking how the brigade is going to further develop and grow, as Amanda and Brian do too and helping develop the work with the brigaders and local artists."

this is word for word...as far as storing stuff maybe you could ask to store your stilts at the merch table or something but I would ask ahead about that....

it will still be great just be ready to brigade an hour before doors which is pretty standard...

*as for the CLUE portion as soon as I know for sure a blowup doll has been procured it will be a go and we can chat bout who wants to carry what...already have a hot tap dancing inspector... :headbang:

EDIT:  As for there being no one to talk to no worries we can self organize and we have EACH OTHER for that...maybe some with room in their cars can help to store things and whatnot...let's just stay in touch so we CAN get Ourselves all sorted out...let's make the 8-8-08 Chicago BRIGADE KICK ASS!!!!

Alright Eudora, let's do this.
It sucks that we don't have a check in, but we can make this rock.
I've been to the Lake Shore before and it's a great theatre with a fairly straight forward layout. I would recommend that we all exchange info before hand so we can better stay in touch and make this work. Does anyone use Facebook/AIM? My email is inkpencafe@gmail.com
