I very almost became a vegetarian today.  My dad sent me to the butcher for his weekly order and I was stood there for 10 minutes waiting for the guy to cut all the meat.  The way he slapped the meat down and cut it into thick, bloody chunks made me want to vomit.  Then I saw the figurines of smiling cows and pigs and felt guilty.  The whole place stunk of raw meat and the little slivers of blood-covered gristle and fat was disgusting.

My cousin's a sous chef at this restaurant that cooks fresh everything. Which means when someone orders lamb they drive to the farm, kill lil lamb chop, skin, rip apart, cook and serve. He's killed one or two lambs, and though the sight of the blood gushing from their throats has made him disgusted, he still eats meat like it's nobody's bidness. How? I don't know.
