I think I might do it. I'll talk to my organized drama friend about it. However, it could very well just be a rumor, because the source I got it from might not be the best.

To be honest, I would have thought they would give Cabaret a go, being they have the PERFECT kids for it. The girl that would be Mimi is less than spanish-looking - _ -

Does anyone know any old myths or legends to do with eyes, vision, seeing/ creatues with one/three/irregular amount of eyes?

Or poetry/ songs about dreams?

I have a few but I want a good selection. I'm making some books for my course :) Well, hoping to make more than one!

Odin traded one of his eyes for wisdom.

There's probably a number of variations on the whole "evil eye" idea.

Horus' eye was torn out during a battle with Set, was restored by Thoth, and then gifted to Osiris bringing him back to life (or so some random internet site said).  It's considered a symbol of protection (udjat).

Does "fictional" mythology count? (if you know what I mean).  If so, there's always beholders in D&D, they got loads of eyes with all laser beams and such.

That's all I can think of off-hand.

I have books on mythology but hard to find what you're looking for and google lead me to a page about redheads which was fun and distracting, but not what I wanted O.o

I'm sorry, but WHAT THE HELL AMERICA?!!!

I'm just watching the news, and the top story is that apparently people working for the American embassy here, are secretly surveiling Danish citizens, who apparently could be a threat to America, in Denmark.
You would have our asses if it was the other way around. I'm no nationalist and I'm not that much of a patriot, but don't come in to my house, and act like you own me. How rude.

(By "you", I mean the people that find this ok)
