I never, ever thought I'd be one of those girls who's like "You can't invite him and him, it'll totes be awkward!!" but it seems I am! Going to the pub tonight with my lovely chum Beverley and some of her friends, and she's not seen Seamy in ages so she got me to ask him, because she didn't want to ask him herself without my permission. I laughed at that, and said that for future reference the only time Seamy is off the cards is if Paul is definitely on them, and Paul had said that he didn't have enough money to come out. But then today Paul's apparently said that he does want to, but Seamy's coming, so Beverley's trying to find a nice way to tell Paul that we love him very much but he's not invited xD I'm sure he'll understand, and we can go out another time with Paul, but it's still a bit weird.

I'm a dolt who can't keep pay weeks straight.
I thought I couldn't go to dinner with friends next pay week because it clashed with my friends 21st, so I said I couldn't . But it turns out pay week is actually next week, and the 21st is the week after. So I can go!

But I also have to pay for my first paper for my new course, but I can split that over 2 pay weeks.

My friend just asked me on a "break up date". Basically, we go for a meal, I slap him and storm out sometime during dessert, wait for him outside and we go for drinks. Oddest thing ever, it's going to be hilarious. He told me I could practice slapping him if I bought the drinks LOL

Haha slapping someone always feels awesome. Watching the slap bet in HIMYM, last year we have made slap & headbutt bets with my brother(for which i still owe him 2 more slaps and i'm so scared if he remembers it).

you should up it to a glass of water in the face next time.....or if you really want a scene invite a friend along to suddenly walk in mid-meal, throw the drink in his face and storm off....then you slap hi9m and walk out!

I like when friends of mine are advertising for flatmates on daft.ie because I get to see pictures of their apartments.
Most of them I've been to, but sometimes it really shows you who knows how to make a place look nice.

My best friend's ex-girlfriend put up pictures of hers...the place looks awful, really dirty and just terrible and it's not a bad apartment.
Then a chef I was seeing in January put up pictures of his new place that I haven't seen, it looks gorgeous. For pictures of the bathroom he has the bath full and some lit candles beside it (I think he just really likes candles, he lit some when we had sex) and I'm thinking "daaaang, somebody knows how to make it look presentable"

i'm really super nervous about amanda's art show in berlin...

i know this sounds ridiculous and childish but it's the first time i take a plane by myself, and stay in an hotel room by myself...
my cousin lives in berlin, but she's out of town, so for three days i'll be completely alone in a town where i know no one...
and this thought is scary and exciting at the same time,
because i love berlin,
and know where to go...

but the art show in particular freaks me out. from the dress code (i want to dress up, heels and black dress, but what if everyone is dressed sporty/goth?),
to "what if nobody looks at my artwork?" to me being there, alone, awkwardly staring at my shoes....
