I just got an email with the last details for my new 'job'. Going to teach some kids, starting next Monday. Even though I've been in the marching percussion activity for 15 years, teaching is a completely new thing for me. But, I'm excited to get the chance to try it. And they are willing to pay me way more than I dared to ask or expect. It's only 4 times for now, until summer holidays. If things go well, I might be able to continue after. I hope it will go fine, and both me and the kids will like it.

Another girl attempted to send me her personal email address, by cutting up the .co.uk bits with things like this /////(((!!!)))/// instead of just putting 'dot co dot uk' or something.  When in fact my emails to her go through the database to her personal email anyway.  She also couldn't spell in full words. 

Her way is actually probably better...  The idea is to avoid putting anything in a message that an
automated message scanner can read as an email address, and many/most of the parasites who
use them have probably figured out obvious things like at...dot.  Malware ftw!

Then a dude asks me what my best price is.  I put it up for £85 which is practically giving it away because I'm desperate for the cash, and this ass is trying to rob me of more money.  So I emailed him back saying my best price was £84.99.  I expected a 'no thanks' email, but instead got a response saying 'how's £85 sound? Where can I collect it?'

Do people even know how to negotiate a sale these days?

I'm gonna guess he was trying to be funny...  I hope.
