^I would not be shocked by that. ...I miss sheep. There aren't any in Belfast. You can't even hear them. Back home you can hear them whenever the traffic shuts up. Here, the traffic never shuts up, and if you do manage to escape it then it just gets replaced by the planes that are apparently following me everywhere >.<

Just got off the phone with the lady from the fostering people because my dad and step-mum are applying. Really hope it goes well. I talked about all sorts of things, but at the end she asked me if I generally think it's a good idea. The answer is a resounding yes - they'll be fantastic. Also may have mentioned my theory that the 14 chickens my step-mother now owns might be symptomatic of a misdirected mothering instinct xD

So there's this "elephant parade" thing going on in my city. There are a bunch of handpainted elephants, made by a variety of different artists all over town, and there is some sort of shop where you can buy a limited number of replicas of the different elephants. You can also buy a little blank elephant that you're supposed to paint yourself.

My mom and stepmom bought a little blank elephant and wanted me to paint it. I had no idea what to put on it, but now I've come up with the perfect design. It contains two flamingo's that come together in a heart on the back of the elephant.
