Unrelated: Richard O'Brian voices Ferb's Dad in Phineas and Ferb, and when I found out, it made me love the show more. And Tim Curry is a God.

That is all :)
NO.
FUCKING.
WAY

Yep! :D It makes the show that much more awesome.

When I read it, I was like WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT. Made me happy. Almost as much as Tim Curry being the voice of nature for my generation AKA Nigel Thornberry

In the book I was reading it says, "The secret police made short shrift of suspicious males in those days: They opened their trousers and looked to see whether they were circumcised. If they were, they shot them." It brought on a silly conversation about circumcision between my mom and me, but I haven't decided if I'd chose that for my own kids or not. I should probably figure that out soon.

What?  You didn't realize the Shadowbox had a five-page discussion of this?   ;D
That was actually helpful, haha.

Watching one of the contestants on Project Runway have a minor break down when he lost was strange.
He had a lot more riding on that competition that we'd realised.
I think his problem is that he too much craves the approval of the family that will never approve of his life style.
They want him to marry again and give up on the design dream but he's gay and wants to be a designer.
He seemed to have the illusion that if he won his family would magically support him as a designer.

Though I don't know these people, I know this situation.
Seeing his mini breakdown was strange and very very sad.

Also, after seeing his home and friends I've decided I should go to Palm Springs, get me some good gays

Got to the Dunkin Donuts just seconds after a bunch of cops (three cop cars). FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU I WANT SOME DONUUUTTTS.
At least one of them opened the door for me (even if he was trying to flirt with me even after seeing the big shiny I have on my left hand... lol)

In 41 pages, you'd better dedicate number 1992 to my birth.

But first he must dedicate it to mine in '91.

Mine is a bit earlier...

Today, I attended day 1 of the Meadow Highland Games and Celtic Festival - "Music, Food, and Large Men Throwing Stuff"
A brief account:
1. Decidedly NON-Scottish weather - warm, with a cool breeze, and nary a cloud in the sky.
2. Massed pipes... Nothing on the scale of the really big gatherings, but a 300-piece band is
still impressive when you live a pipe-free life most of the time.... and I love bagpipes...
3. A multitude of dogs, both the sort one associates with Scotland/Ireland (gimongous wolfhounds
shelties, terriers, sheep dogs...) and others (dachsunds, pit bulls..).  Yay dogs! (even the one who slobbered all over me...)
4. An Imperial stormtrooper in a kilt (sorry, I didn't get a picture).
5. this:

They said it was haggis...  If so, it's reputation for awfulness is exaggerated.

6. A vast assortment of attractive young ladies, and at least one very-drunk, slightly older than me,
bleached-blonde woman in a very short microskirtkilt (slightly embarrasing...)
7. Lots of large, nay very large, men...  many of them hairy to a greater or lesser degree.
They threw telephone poles, a game I've heard of but never previously witnessed.
   It was most impressive.
8. The Celtic-style group from the USAF's concert band.
9. A group called Mythica...  They were good...  They have a hurdy-gurdy...
    This is an impressve instrument...

All in all, a vast improvement over yesterday.

I love hurdy-gurdies.  Granted, this is in part because I love saying "hurdy-gurdy", but they are interesting when used properly.
