I saw Totalfrog's (probably less-evil) double at the grocery store today......  She didn't have any
kids with her, and she wasn't limping, and I couldn't see if she was buying meat-food or not...
My clones are everywhere. It's all part of my masterplan for world domination.

Mine are as well.

Which reminds me, the other night I was once again mistaken for this girl Tory. It used to be that when we were together people thought that we were twins (we've hung out like four times and barely know each other).
Now even though I have short hair and she has long hair and all that, people actually hug me or say "Hi Tory".
I even sort of respond to it now.

Also, her boyfriend's name is Jim. I'm with James.

An open question for everyone who works/has-worked in a restaurant:

Say I visit your fine dining-establishment, order $(n) in food and beverage, and receive good service...
When I finish my meal, I elect to purchase $(x) worth of restaurant-logo
t-shirts, pre-packaged carryout food and/or drink, chopsticks, shot glasses etc etc....

Should I tip based on the $n which was served and consumed on-premises, or
on the total check $(n+x) ?

i don't know how other servers feel about this, but speaking for myself, i don't think i would expect someone to tip on merchandise. carryout food though, like ordering a meal at the end to bring home for someone, i do consider necessary to be figured in. my main reasoning behind that is because i wouldn't really feel like i earned a tip based on merchandise since frankly i didn't do anything for it. i mean, it'd sure be nice if someone wanted to, but no, i wouldn't expect it.

In this case, a gimongous (and, actually, rather overpriced) growler of the house-brew, filled from the tap
when ordered, closed with a swing-top (I'm a sucker for a badass beer bottle...)  so kinda food and kinda merch.

It cost as much as my lunch, and I want to be sure I didn't undertip... so I kinda fudged an amount halfway in between.

what she said. you don't tip on merch. in your sitch, if you could find out how much the beer would be w/o the fancy mug, you could add that to your food bill.

I made an awful joke (not cruel, I think) to this girl I have some interest. and I said it was awful right after I said. she did not get it at first, and when I explained she was like, no words. I said sorry and she said it was fine. I felt bad and sent her an sms to reinforce that I felt bad about what happened. question is: big chances that she may have lost some interest and she is really mad or am I just overreacting?

(on the sms I said I felt bad and I asked if she was really okay with that)

I was just channeling Margaret Cho...I suppose it means love yourself first. Or something like that.

I agreed with everything he said, even if it contradicted with what he just said.
I'VE NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE.

I think i've mentioned it a million times before, but i really really do hate getting antibiotics. I'm allergetic to all kinds of it, and the kinds which contain penicillin may even kill me while the others just make skin eruptions and urinary tract infections.

I hate being allergetic to pennicilin, it's told to be the most powerful medicine againist the germs. And i've had tonsillitis for the third time in last two months. The main problem is, the antibiotics i can use doesn't solve the problem. Tests were made and my doctor said "You should have a tonsillectomy operation, or else you'll keep on having tonsillitis almost everymonth.". Then i wanted to see another doctor and he said "You shouldn't have a tonsillectiomy because if you don't have tonsils the germs will infect your lungs pretty easier and considering you have chronic asthma it may be fatal for you".

So i don't know what to do. I just had a shot of cough syrup and my head aches like hell.

@savannah get them out. I had tonsillitis constantly until I got mine out when I was 20. I felt better almost immediately. Now I hardly ever get sick.

I got mine out when I was 4, and I've never had any lung problems. My mum and sister, who both have their tonsils have a lot more trouble with them than I do.

Reading this with right underneath that DICK ATTACK was both confusing and hilarious.

So many things happening...I might not move in with James yet afterall because of weird circumstances that may mean police bursting in at any moment? No thanks?

and last night james and I went out to the bar for open mic (which we haven't done together in agesss) and as we're drinking 1 dollah beers and enjoying comedy by one of his friends, and when he was done they announced Jeff would be playing next.

and I just knew. I always know.
And I said to James "I bet you that's my ex."
He shrugged and went off to the bathroom.

Then my ex Jeff said hi.
And I was like I KNEW IT.

I introduced him to my James, and James was very nice and asked Jeff about where he lives and blah blah.
I was only slightly nervous because I have Jeff's friend request pending on my facebook haha.

so! then Jeff is playing and I was just watching cause, I mean, why not. And there was a lyric "you drive me sane". And I was like.
...

 :tongue7:

That's my lyric.
He stole my lyric.

It was a song I wrote for him merely weeks before he dumped me.

I never learned it or anything, so it's fine that he stole it, but it kind of pissed me off.

and I told James and he was like "every song doesn't have to be about you". Which is good he said that, because the next one sounded just like the song Jeff was writing about me when we were together.
So I didn't say that. Because of course it doesn't have to be about me. At all.

But dogdamnit. That was mmymyyy line.

oh well.

The roomies are having their ex-con best friend sleep on the couch for a couple of months.
We have to lock all the doors in the house to keep the cops from getting too nosey (oh you know lock doors never make any one suspicious).

and the loads of pot everywhere made me nervous to began with, now we have COPS LOOKING IN?!?!! WTF?! does this guy seriously have no other options but this pothead?!

so james and I are looking at other places to live.

edit: Also not asking us if this would be cool at all was a bad omen to me. Just assuming that we're cool with this..blarg.
