ESPN broadcast dutch championship here, though I never watched a game. Im not that fanatic about football, and I dont watch TV that much either. Who do you support?

I didn't know they broadcasted our championships/leagues outside of Europe, I'm pleasantly surprised about this haha.

From the Dutch teams I support FC Groningen. They are from my province, so I kinda grew up with them. They had a great season last year, and could keep up with the top. Now they are hanging around in the middle a bit. I really like to watch Barca play, love their playing style. And since the Women's World Cup earlier this year I've been following the USA team, and also the WPS (American women's pro league). To my surprise it is quite interesting to watch!

They even have some small coverage on their website, with fixtures, standings, goals, transactions. Their website is kind of a mess for searching old posts, so I couldn't found any recent video. The most recent one was a PSV Europa league game and this one:

EDIT: never mind about the video.. there is no shoutcasting. Sometimes they don't put it online, just the goals.

They will air Ajax x Feyenoord tomorrow, but on ESPN HD (I dont have it). They could air Groningen game, but I guess that Feyenoord and Ajax have a bigger following here (ESPN usually air thos games where they will have a larger audience. and both teams have a short cut for their news on ESPN's site - http://espn.estadao.com.br/feyenoord, http://espn.estadao.com.br/ajax)

Women football leagues here are really small, almost amateur. People don't give a damn for that. They only care about women football during Olympics and World Cup - not even during Pan American games.

About Barça, I like their style, but I don't "support" them or any team in Spain.

I follow the Rugby.  I stopped getting up at weird times to watch it though after England got knocked out of the running.

Also - anybody got an idea what might happen to a cat should it ingest a contraceptive pill?

I watched only a few games, more from the pool stage. We are 15h behind NZ, meaning earlier games were aired at 2:00. I watched only those thate were aired on Saturday to Monday.

Im starting considering opening a thread for rugby, even though world cup is ending and I dont follow any national championship.

What Froggy said, i'm OK Anne, thank you very much for asking. The earthquake has been in a very distant city from where i live. So everything is OK.
I'm just sad and currently trying to send an aid box to the earthquake area.
