I wanted to put this in "shit that ruined you day" first, but the other things in there were far more day ruining, so I came here to say this:

I didn't shower last night, because I didn't feel like it and thought "I'll just get up half an hour earlier to do so", and now I'm up and our water is disconnected because apparently, they're working on the water supply into the house. So now I have no choice but go to school with the worst hair known to man, BLAH!!

^Do you have a beret or something? One of the girls I work with came in with terrible hair, and to solve it, brought a beret, and curled her hair up in it. Problem solved.

Every time I'm sat on a specific bench at uni having a smoke, the cleaner guy comes over and says 'make sure you put that in the bin' EVERY TIME! I wouldn't mind because you can't remember every face,  even though I say 'I always do' but its the fact that he looks at me like I'm a dirty delinquent and like he thinks I'm not going to put it in the bin. Get over yourself.

That sucks. The lovely caretaker at Union told me once to put my fag ends in the grate at the bottom of the stairs after pointing out that he's the one who has to pick them up, and I've never stopped

See, a bit of courtesy goes a long way doesn't it? Respect is a two way thing.

I have just applied for a job at a very posh hotel. Bar and waiting on staff. I detailed all the experience I have, although they didn't find it crucial and they said they are VERY flexible on hours, which is pretty much my perfect job right now. 12 hours a week. I would be earning 100 a week on top of my current job so I really hope I get it. If I get an interview I will tell them that if necessary I can dye my hair and remove my piercing, because they won't ask me to do so but would come up with another reason not to hire me.

as of today's pouds to reais exchange, you will be earning as much as I do to work 12h a week against my 40h a week - when I dont have to do extra unpaid hours at home.

I've finally been able to convince my sister to go to the dermatologist for melanoma on her back. Me, my mom and my mom's wife have been talking to her about this for MONTHS, as there is a history of skin cancer in our family. I had melanoma on my back in the same spot, went to the dermatologist for this 4 years ago, and she got rid of it right away, so I guess it was really necessary. My aunt had the same spot on her back, too. She had to get rid of it, too...

I think I'm going to move this weekend. My friend is letting me stay with him for a week, then it's probably a hotel for old James. I just hope I can get the money. May have to sell my ps3, which means I may not be on much after sunday

Yeah, apparently it's the traditional day for women to propose to men. My friend actually asked me to propose to him hahaha. I googled this last night, and it said that some traditions require the man to buy the woman gifts, like a dress if he says no. Another one is that he must buy 12 pairs of gloves for the woman if he refuses
