oh don't worry, i felt it wasn't a matter of life and death, but just wanted to remind you you are awesome with visual stuff, and you have a terrible good eye, so it'll be mucho easier than you think!

I've read the first book, i didn't like the narrating style though. Maybe it's because it was a translation, i don't know but it bored me to hell.

I'm also very excited for the second season. I have a store meeting that night and I have a feeling that's all I'll be thinking about.

I'm on the third book now. Can't. Stop. Reading. Also watching the first season again to prepare for Season 2 ehehe

I brought the DVDs last weekend and sat and watched them one after another. I regret nothing.
I also plan on re-reading the books. And I'm going to be good by not watching them online because it airs here 2 weeks after the states.

In portuguese (and both in Brazil and Portugal) we have this idiom "Nunca vi mais gordo/gorda", which literally means  "Never seem fatter" and one of my favourites to random shout at people - in both languages. This idiom is used when you want to say you dont know or never heard about something/someone. Like:

"Do you know John Doe/Mary Doe , from the cafe?"
"Never seem fatter."

"Do you know that book, the Bible?"
"Hmm.... never seem fatter."

"Do you know that restaurant, Mc Donalds?"
"No. Never seem fatter."



Is already kinda funny in portuguese, but I think it gets funnier in english.

It's cold in the airport and the only cardi I brought with me I took into the concert last night, so it kind of smells a bit

So, I have a friend, he's a guy, let's call him N.

N has kids and a wife he is currently divorcing. He's my age, intelligent, good looking, but a little socially inept...in a smart-guy way.

I know this girl F through some other friends, including one she's been sleeping with. She and I talked for a while at the bar about her future with said man and so on.

N thinks F wants to date him/sleep with him. He just wants to be friends. From what I gathered from F, she isn't super interested in him.

N told F publicly on facebook when to meet him at the bar. (After she publicly complained that he didn't invite her last time..when he had invited me but I don't think she knows that)

Anyway, I saw this but didn't say anything. A few days later he messages me and invites ME out, same day, same bar.

So, I think I might be in the middle of these two. I think N deserves waaay better than F, and he knows I'm not a big fan of hers. At all.
And yet he's having me hang out with her? Without really telling me?

I'm not super socially ept myself, and I'm thinking "ITS A TRAP" for some sort of girly cat fight. Because obviously she will assume I'm after him, right?
And I'm not really super excited for inane gossip.

BUT, I want to be a friend for him, and I think doing this is a very friendy thing. I just..I don't know.

You mean, hang out with him, or be with him, because, not happening. I'm totally not smart enough.


So, I will just go, and see what happens. And if it turns cat-fighty, I will leave. Simple as that. I don't know how to deal with girl-type-girls.

I want to quit my job. But I have to give 4 weeks, and the course I'm enrolling in starts in 10 weeks. So that's 6 weeks without pay, or 6 weeks to find another job if I do.
But I'll probably just tough it out. It's money, and I can stock up on clothes at half price before I leave.
