Sometimes when I'm scratching the cat's ears, she puts her back leg up to scratch it herself. So I move my hand away so as to not get caught in the crossfire, and she moves her leg away. She doesn't understand that she can't just twat my hand with her claws. It's not the way it goes.

Perharps is just a reflex and she does not think 'hmmm.... let me scratch that spot'.

alas, is funny to notice that in spite of this guide, the typographic and the cover having her and not a teenager idol, how similar this magazine is to those the girls read:

I always get a kick out of seeing how much airbrush they've applied to whichever-celebrity's
cleavage while I'm standing in the checkout line at the grocery store.  While the cleavage
itself is never subtle, the airbrushing is occasionally fairly understated.

Of course, usually both are clearly visible in spectacular amount.

My sister is the loveliest person. I told her a few weeks ago about a concert I REALLY wanted to go to but it was in Manchester and even if I could afford the travel, I couldn't afford the tickets. So she offered to buy me the tickets. I was ready to accept but the travel also ended up being too much, so I never went. She asked me today about it, and I told her I wasn't going. Another back story: I posted on the "ruined your day" thread that I'd lost a necklace that had been a birthday present down the drain. My flatmate found it, so all was not lost, but I never told Ceadaoin that I found it again. So when she found out I wasn't going to the concert, she told me to buy a new necklace with her money. Which is so sweet, really. She is lovely and I am very proud to call her a sister.

OK, I literally clicked on Google Chrome while saying to myself "Go straight to the university library website and get on their catalogue, don't get distracted, c'mon, you can do this" and fell at the first hurdle. Just got sucked into looking at t-shirts on ThinkGeek.com because I have no will-power. And now I'm on here telling you about it.... Fuck this shit! I have an essay to write!

So one of my best friends, J, has a boyfriend. But he wants the relationship to end, however he previously broke up with this boyfriend then they got back together. Now he's withholding sex in the hopes that the boyfriend will break up with him. J is not a relationship person, I have no idea why he got into it in the first place.
On friday night I was with the boyfriend and his best friend in a club and the boyfriend kept asking "Where's J?" he was around somewhere but I hadn't seen him in over an hour. So I just ended up dancing with those two for the night, his boyfriend is just really sweet and nice, and he was trying to hook me up with his best friend who I would totally do (were he not the room-mate of my crush's best friend).

Anyway, I have now added the boyfriend on FB and he keeps poking me, it's very strange. I'm really really hoping he's not flirting with me (How conceded it that?), not because he's J's boyf (who has said to me "You can have him, seriously") but because I don't want him.
At several occasions I've been with guys who are J's 'sloppy seconds' so to speak, and have been told "Wow, you're so much nicer than him. You would have been a better choice from the start" and not to be mean to J, because I love him to pieces, but this is true.
I'm just hoping his boyfriend hasn't thought that and is now attracted to me, because that would make me feel really awkward....and apparently he's quite bad in bed but that's the least part of the situation of course.

i genuinely don't think i care about other people on any level, other than what i get out of knowing them.
eg, i fell out, irreparably, with a girl i'd known since just after we were both born, and my biggest worry was 'how will i get weed now?'
i dumped my boyfriend, who i genuinely believed i loved, without a second thought the moment i got bored of him
whenever someone i know dies i feel almost nothing except annoyance that everyone else is going to get sad and not be entertaining for AAAAAAGES

i don't know where i'm going with this, i don't consider myself a bad person or anything, it's just something i've noticed recently.
i've always felt really disconnected from everything but i never thought it extended to this.

no, i generally don't interact with animals much, if it's something safe like a dog i'll stroke it and chat shit to it but if it's something scary and unpredictable like a cat i'll just try not to cross paths with it.
