the weather turned out to be ok most of the time with a few showers here and there!

it's my favourite place ever, together with berlin probably, but it's just...the architecture is amazing. obviously not everywhere, there are crappy areas as in all towns,
but it offers SO much as a city, from music to fashion to food to exhibitions... milan is a big city but i don't know there aren't really things happening all the time like in paris!

Yeah, in Paris' defence, I've only been there once for a couple of days. And I didn't really see that much of the city (but you know that, because you were there). I think maybe my problem with Paris is that it's not different enough from Belgian cities like Antwerp or Brussels.

I will probably go back soon(ish). A train ticket from Antwerp to Paris isn't all that expensive, so I could even just make it a day trip... But even if I change my mind, I'll always think it's overrated, because people talk about it like it's somehow better and more special than any other city in the world, and it's not. It's still just a city.

But the city I'm absolutely in love with, is London. I mean, sure it's got it's grey and dirty parts too. The difference is that in London I love those places just the same.

I thought the same about LA.
I always see Paris as a magical city. Definitely somewhere I'd like to spend a decent amount of time in, really see the sights, and absorb the city. Just because it would be so different to here.
But, in saying that, a lot of other cities in the world would be like that. And there are countless places I would love to spend a long time in.
And, even after all that, I might find that some of them are really just grey and dirty cities. But who knows.

Feeling very dense after just realising that a guy I know and a drag queen are the same person.
How I didn't notice before is really beyond me, it's so obvious...like...I feel so stupid.

Especially considering I was at the club night for 'their' birthday, I guess I just thought that was a coincidence.
