I went to this party last night, and one of my friends, who I used to go to school with, was telling us all what he'd been up to (most of us only get to see each other at these parties) and it was basically "The Sexual Adventures of B"
I honestly didn't know if I should laugh or cringe it was that terrible.
Everyone knows he has an expansive imagination, it's actually kind of sad...

Every April since 2009, my late friend Sean's family throws a celebration of his life (he died in a traffic accident in November 2008). Today's the day...it's always a really bittersweet experience; he was a singer/songwriter on the local scene and sooooo many people not only knew him, but did gigs with the guy. It's always fun to see 'em all (a few have moved away over the past few years, and for some of them, this is the only time they get to come back to the D each year), but it sucks more with each passing day that one of the scene's biggest boosters - and the biggest mentor to young musicians this city had - is gone.

Thank you both It's the first song I've written form scratch since I moved to Belfast - the only other one was based on a poem from a few years ago. I'm very happy with it, but a little nervous about what Seamy's reaction might be to it xD

I always say the world is too small.

At the end of November was this promotion in a burrito place where you got a half price burrito if you wore a fake moustache, and let them take a picture of you.
The pictures are on facebook and I was just looking back through them, a girl I don't know had liked a comment I left on the picture of me.
I went onto her profile, never met her before.
But it turns out she's married to the older brother of a girl who lives with my ex.
Another flatmate of that ex turned out to be quite a good friend of one of my anthropology lecturers.

I'm having this weird ballet phase right now where I'm obsessing over videos of ballerina's breaking in their pointe shoes, going en pointe, and watching videos on how to improve foot flexibility. When I was younger I'd always point my toes because I wanted to do ballet, but then I learned that men don't really go on pointe. Ugh, so disappointed.

In other news, CISPA was passed a few days ago, which means the government is watching our every move. I'm sure the people in power are really excited to watch the porn I watch. I hope I'm making at least one of them smile.
