Got off work three hours early (from a four hour shift...) because town is pretty dead. The main road is shut off, but they're still holding the art hop tonight. Wtf? It's in the park RIGHT NEXT to where a block of town was burnt to the ground last night. People are going to be choking on smoke, if they come out at all.
Mostly there is film crews and news paper reporters crawling around, and a few confused tourists.

Otherwise it's a lovely day and my boy will be here in a bit and a friend is opening a bar today, so it should be good times in a smokey and depressing setting.

The only problem with the drier not being in the house is that I can't tell when it's done so I can put the next load in.

Wtf is up with the white ninja costume... I can understand the black for blending in shadows and red because hello it hides bloodstains..but white is totally not practical.

the end of desperate housewives really saddened me :( I mean, it's just...horribly said that the voice states they would have never reunited as long as they lived.
it saddens me because i'm not sure whether it's terribly realistic or unrealistic... i like to think that i'll keep in touch and continue seeing (even if once a year, or two year, or whatever) my best friends, no matter where in the world we will be. on the other hand, i know that ties dissolve easily when people move away... but.... i don't think it was necessary for the series to state they'll never see one another again... meh...

The end of the L word was so difficult for me to take.
When I finished Queer as Folk (US) I was majorly sad too.

But nothing was more emotional than the final episode of Daria, every time I watch it I cry.
It's not because it's the final episode, it's just the episode itself

Having 5 flatmates and one bathroom can be really annoying. It's like there's an invisible queue everytime I want to pee and I'm always at the end.
