I think most police officers are just over stressed and miss care that. It feels like they forget you are not trained to deal with those situations, so you don't read what they would. And lets not get into the on going violence in the street level (drug war) and inside slums.

Well, nothing bad happened, so lets put this on the past.

Hey guys I moved into my new house last month and on move-in day my flatmates and I found two rooms under the house that the landlord hadn't told us about/didn't know about. There was a locked wardrobe and a bucket in one of them, no big deal. At my birthday party a couple of weeks ago we drunkenly found a third mysterious room containing a big tv that for the most part still works (score!), a meat grill, and a striped sweater. Because of this, someone has recommended me the book House of Leaves. How terrible is this idea?
