Guitar Hero & BoBBQ

Has anyone else noticed the similarities between Guitar Hero and Bank of Boston Beauty Queen? I may just be losing my mind but when I listen to Guitar hero I also hear BoBBQ.

I don't really hear bbbq so much as sex changes maybe. I mean they are two totally different songs but just the sort of intense staccato and then a sort of major-ish chorus part "i could save you baby (today's a very special day)" . and then of course the awesome building up endings "Your my guitar hero (no one ever said that sex would change you!).

I thought the same thing the first time I heard GH. They are different tunes, obviously, and I'm not saying Amanda's being a lazy songwriter or anything like that. Besides, the end results are what matter. If they didn't, AC/DC would've broken up long ago due to every album sounding the same. ;)

no, it's not shared.  but, she's playing it more and more (and doing more solo shows), so more performances are being recorded, which is a plus.  i have a feeling as the album release date gets closer, we'll see a change in amanda's myspace music selection.  just an inkling, though.

lets hope! i want to hear "Guitar Hero" so badly. the problem is, pretty much all of the solo shows i can go to aren't all ages.  :'(

there are some youtube things out there, but i've never found a complete one (if there was one, it was most likely pulled down like the others have been).  plus they're all pretty shitty.  care to enlighten me if there is a complete video?
