My friend and I are trying to get a film, music and some paintings ready for a kabaret night...
It's gonna be at the forest cafe at some point or at my friends house which will be turned into a little venue.
Not for the faint of heart, but it's going to be wicked awesome!

Meeeeee. Only for a week, though. I had planned to live there for the month, and play some shows with my band, but finances and general lack of time conspired against me. [NEXT YEAR!]

I will be spending 5 days in your bee-yootiful city [Sunday 17th - Friday 22nd], and then fecking off to the Highlands for a one week yoga/meditation retreat. Cannae wait!

gonna have so much fun...four days just isnt long enough...especially since i *may* have to do some band-related stuff for some friends of mine, mainly flyer-ing on the royal mile, along with everyone else (

)...i hope it doesn't rain this time...drippy tents are no fun.

helping out the band is cool...but i would much rather see you lovelies.

Yeah patti rocks, can't wait to see her again, how is she doing? have you heard anything from her lately? I got a message the other day so I'll definitely see her at some point. I might be playing the forest myself, and I can be found at the project my friend and I have fo sho yo! But Listen to Raliel go see Patti!! She's awesome, and if I may add beautiful!

I love being online at the same time as other people. I'm trying to get a group together to go to silent disco together- I went last year and LOVED it, but it's a group thing- it's on the fringe timetable but googling it would be better.

But that's ok, yes I did play a set at the forest was terrified for it was my first ever show on my own and hadn't been on stage for like what.. 10 years? it went fairly well, but now I have more songs and all I need now is a loop station and I will rock your shit... hahaha.. That will take another year though because I don't have money for a loopstation... I keep buying plane tickets instead... I'm not in edinburgh, I'm in holland, my friend lives in Edinburgh but he's stayed at mines the last 5 months working on his book, poetry etc. He's doing quite well actually! Wellllll if you have more time on your hands... would you sit in a corner and look terrified in white underwear? I'll let you know when I'm in edinburgh, and if you see me at the forest before I've contacted you say hi!

I was thinking about cutting a megaphone out of cardboard... it will save your ears.. little text balloon... i got back from edinburgh at half stupid 5 in the morning today, it was wonderful!
sorry i didnt get to catch you guys...i was super busy with the band, i didnt get to see any of the acts that were on this year...bar one-the tiger lilies at the speigal tent...they were amazing. there are pics on my myspace, but unfortunately not of the show as photography inside the tent was band!!

i did gt a fab piccy with Martyn Jacques (the lead vocalist/accordian/uke player) at the end though...
