Great evening!! WOW!!!If you're in the Boston area and missed tonight's WKAP screening and performance, be sure to go Saturday. Michael Pope and Amanda and all concerned have truly outdone themselves. Very POWERFUL and INSPIRING!! Even hear that with time permitting, there might be an extra live Miss A performance of some sort after the screening. Sadly time did not permit this Friday because the event got off to a later start.  I envy everyone who's going Saturday!!!

And, Hey Len Tower, Bill T and I had a mucho cool time hanging with ya.

sherih and btm: i had a great time hangin' with you both
and chattin' with everyone else!

sherih: usual great pictures!

i hope more of them end up on your web sight
as you both have time post-production

amanda wrote recently, that they may screen the video in nyc
in a few weeks

if you like that, chime in here on the box

my "review"
from http://www.theshadowbox.net/forum/index.php?topic=4452.msg97280#msg97280

the video compilation of all the WKAP music videos is a masterwork,
done by a team of geniuses

if you get a chance to see this on the big screen do so
{worth canceling thanksgiving with your mom ; - }

i hope amanda and her team see fits to show it in many more locales
on the big screen
than just cambridge

the board strokes were what i expected from the lyrics,
but the details were interesting and often surprising

of course, full credits for all  involved

it translated from internet tiny screen to big movie screen very well,
with lot's of impact from the size of amanda and her co-actors
think infinite close-ups

the biggest lost in that translation was the quality of the type used for the credits
blurry and jagged on the edges,
(which would not be hard to fix,
if a full screen release is ever done for real)

this gentleman with amanda is micheal pope,
director of the videos and
part of their genius team

As always, thanks for sharing. :) It relieves a bit of the sting from this not being held next weekend.

First off, a special shout out to Amanadacerada. Was an A++++++++++++ experience hanging with ya down in the front row. OPTIMA FORTUNA in CHICAGO!!!!!!!!! Really, truly, the best of everything wherever Fortuna might lead.

OK and....

and what about the " A Day In Dig Nation" performance? Amazing, no??? WOWISSIMA!! So many KOOL visuals and superior scripted interactions!! A MUST see!!!!! A reminder of Amanda's promo for said Day Nation Digging!

"A DAY IN DIG NATION is a mash-up of media, sound and live performance following Rex, a man so consumed by technology that he forgets how to communicate with actual people. Helmed by multi-talented performer/composer/designer Michael McQuilken and co-written by Tommy Smith, A DAY IN DIG NATION weaves a hypnotic tale of crisis and redemption in this exhausting technological age. Think A Christmas Carol meets The Wooster Group; It's a Wonderful Life on an acid trip."

Here's a couple of shots:

I was truly blown away by A Day in Dig Nation. One of the best things I've seen in a long time.
