I'm simultaneously reading The Courtship of Sea Creatures by Jean-Pierre Otte, Fluke by Christopher Moore, and The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett.

my fourth augusten burroughs book   "possible side effects"

i've read : running with scissors , dry, and magical thinking

can't wait for deathly hallows!!   i'm going to the midnight party!!!

i loved possible side effects.  his first book, sellevision, is a fun read, but i wouldn't rush to it.  i definitely like his memoir writing a whole lot better than his fiction writing.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime for school. It's good.

Really? I read that twice.
I have Asperger Syndrome. (Maybe not as severe as Christopher did.)

Coincidentally, I have that too. I thought Aspergers wasn't severe in any case? Eh, I read through all of Mefisto in Onyx by Harlan Ellison last night. There was a gruesome scene that's still in my head D:

I probably used the wrong word.
Well,Severe as Asperger Syndrome goes.
For instance,I'm not as routine orientated as some people, and my level of communication isn't too terrible. I can just about hold a conversation that doesn't revolve around any of my obsessions.

It's nice to see someone else around with Aspergers.

In the City of Shy Hunters - Tom Spanbauer

Tomorrow, I'm starting Go Ask Alice.
You know, I read Go Ask Alice a while ago.  I'm not even sure how it ended up in my hands.  While reading it, I sort of liked it, but oddly enough after I finished it I decided I didn't like it.  Was Alice real or not?

Alice was not real.  Go Ask Alice was anti-drug propaganda, and the woman sometimes credited with authoring it was a psychologist (and, according to Wikipedia, a Mormon youth counselor) who also wrote other cautionary tales purporting to be diaries.

Damn, son.  All purportin' n shit.
