Latest Posts to the top . . . ?
« on: September 22, 2012, 11:31:21 AM »

Hi Amanda/Mods
firstly thanks for a great forum, I'm new here and attending my first AP gig in Manchester next month! anyway, this might have been covered but I can't find it ... I'm wondering why the latest posts are not right at the top of the forum topic, but at the end page (like a book reads) the forum would run smoother and probably save time and bandwidth if the latest posts were shown first, anyway, no worries if this won't be considered, keep up the good work, Rick x  O0

normally the newest posts show on the top, maybe you accidentally hit the 'last post' button and you moved the older posts to the top. click on it again to reverse the effect

Not sure if this is what you mean, but: if you go to your profile, click modify profile and then look and layout you can tick the box for Show most recent posts at the top. That way the newest post within a thread will be at the top of the page.

Clicking that button will take you to the earliest post since you last read that thread.
That way you don't have to scroll around looking for where a discussion left off. If you
click the page-with-arrow botton ALL THE WAY to the right, it will take you to the last
post in the thread.
