The distinction between acceptable and unacceptable roles has pretty much vanished in
the places where the U.S. Army is deployed these days anyway.  Between the "enemy's"
insurgent/guerilla tactics and our army's need for various specialists, and particularly to
serve as go-betweens when dealing with female civilians in a 'culturally sensitive' manner....

Thoughts? About damn time. Women have been in combat zones for ages, but never got paid combat pay for it. Now they will.
