Hello, Miss Amanda!

Not sure if you want to answer this, but I want to ask so here goes:
The symbolism you referred to in Neil's new (fabulous!) book -- the parts that were about you and made you do the V8 thing on your forehead? Are you willing to share any further info about that? I would love to gain a greater understanding of the book.

Hugs from Canada!

V8 thing? on my forehead?? explain....

I know it's not straightly up to you, but what are the odds of ever visiting South America? I want an excuse to pour tons of glitter over myself.

Hi there,

What did you think of Jon Ronson's recent article about his time spent with you?

Any chance you'll be popping up to the Edinburgh Festival at any point this year for some ninja gigs?

Thanks.

i was really sad about the article. and i really enjoyed the time i spent with him.

definitely not going to edinburgh fringe this year - sadly.

how does it compare performing somewhere huge like red rocks as opposed to the smaller venues you're used to? Do you still feel an intimate connection with the audience in a larger space?

"it wasn’t until we were at TED, taking a walk up a little hill in long beach a day or two before my talk, that i finally understood.

we were chatting about the book, i asked him a question about some of the symbolism in the story….and he stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and looked at me.

you twit,

he said.

and he filled in the blanks, and connected the dots for me.

i’d missed it completely."

What can I do to make your upcoming London gig extra-super-specially-awesome? (Besides BEING THERE and covering myself in glitter.. which is currently The Plan.)

 :wav:

bring people & promote the show online!!! it's a 3,000 capacity venue and i think we still have a few hundred tickets to go.
other than that...make friends with strangers and dance and yell. easy.

Legendary Pink Dots will be here in Dallas on October 5th, and I plan to see them for the first time. Do you have recommendations for a crash course into their music?

In some of the earlier live recordings of The Bed Song, the bridge had a last line that didn't make it into the album version. When you played The Thing About Things in Denver, I also noticed that you cut some lines out — is it weird/hard to do that, or does it just seem natural when certain lyrics don't work?

i honestly like playing smaller, packed, places. more fun. but red rocks had it's own amazing magic, can't complain.how can you argue with a venue like this?

YES!!!!!

-the maria dimension
-the golden age
-asylum
-any day now

and then, if you're still seeking, move onto:
