Compassion Clowning in the Amazon
« on: April 04, 2014, 03:05:36 AM »

Greetings artists, innovators, Amanda fans, and go getters!
I hope this lil' post finds you well.

My name is Hayley Shapiro, and I’d like to share this wonderful Humanitarian Clown Trip opportunity with you!

The Gesundheit! Institute and Patch Adams will be heading to Iquitos, Peru in the Amazonian jungle to spread smiles!

I have worked with Patch Adams and The Gesundheit institute for 6 years now as a humanitarian clown. I started on this very trip as a volunteer. It was after visiting my first hospital and the community of Belen, an economically impoverished area located in the lower end of Iquitos, that I fell in love with clowning. I felt that clowning was a key to unlocking the human heart. These clown trips can be a life changing experience, opening one up to new cultures, visions, connections and forms of play.

Do something spontaneous! Join the adventure...or at least check out these links to get more information!

For full details on this trip check this one out:

For any other questions feel free to contact me:

Keep smiling!
