I just bought 3 squared notebooks (90 cents each one) and one notebook that holds 5 subjects (5 bucks) 2 pens (1 dollar) ... damn i am cheap.

I hate expensive notebooks just because they have a colored cover.

I love how you can buy, like, eight Composition notebooks for less than five bucks; they are fantastic for the crafting of songs and impromptu album artwork.

I use gridded paper for everything. The lines suit my handwriting better and you can orientate them in different directions.

I'm off to do senior year at a high school in Germany. I'll be failing everything, teaching an English class and taking German Class with the 1st graders. I'll be doing AP Biology, English 12, Geography Online. If I was in regular high school next year, I'd be...

AP English
AP French
AP Biology
AP Chemistry
AP Statistics
Calculus Honors
Assistant Prof., Anatomy and Physiology
Geography

Plus, online study of Latin, Mandarin Chinese, possibly AP Physics.

i still haven't gotten my schedule yet, and i start next wednesday. i'll be a senior in high school - thank god. i cannot wait to get out of that hell hole. the classes i am signed up for are:

AP english
dual enrollment [college class] government
AP environmental science
AP statistics
music recording technology
and presumably another elective that i haphazardly tossed on there, because i cannot remember for the life of me what it is.

i am really excited about the music recording technology class. the rest...i plan on doing my time and getting out.

my school also requires community service hours in order to graduate, but i'm not sure how many. i should probably find that out...

Current Schedule:

American Studies III (Ms. Holland; trying to get into Honors level 'cos I already did the summer homework and I think I deserve it; double period: 1-2)
Advisory (Mr. Jorgensen; it's this ten-minute thing we do between 2nd and 3rd that's really just time to socialize and fantasize and frantically finish your homework)
Gym (Mrs. Beach/Mr. Kehoe; second semester)
Teen Roles (Mr. Lawrence; health class, essentially; first semester)
Topics 3H (Mr. Jorgensen; basically honors level Algebra II)
Integrated Science Honors (ISH) II (Mrs. Torres; junior level chemistry with the first half of freshman physics; by the end of the year, I'll have learned three years of science classes in two)
Study Hall (trying to transfer to chorus, which is in the same period)
Latin II (Mr. LaFleur)

I would love composition notebooks if I could ever find even one that came in college-ruled. I fucking hate wide-ruled paper.
