At work yesterday someone walked in that looked so much like Shane from The L Word.  She was there for two hours with her girlfriend getting totally wasted, and it wasn't until I found out out that a waitress knew her and mentioned her name (which wasn't Katherine) that I stopped trying to figure out if it was her.  But it was awesome!

I was at Warped Tour yesterday so it isn't like out of nowhere, but when I was on line at the tour's will call tent, Ryan from Envy On The Coast's mom and siblings/friends? were on line in front of me and he came up to them... at one point another band member was there too.

Also, Jess Star was there... I dunno who he/she is, I guess I'm out of the loop but it's a "myspace thing" I think.

you don't see famous people in denver unless you go to a concert and meet the performers.

the only "famous" people i've met are the dresden dolls (after a NIN show) and only son (after a regina spektor show).

not very exciting.

Bill O'Reilly was staying at my hotel in New Orleans a few years back, he passed us on the stairs.  The funny thing is that I was in town for the Voodoo Music Festival which his arch nemesis Ludacris was playing.  Maybe he is a closet fan of Luda.

at my job, tgi fridays in Long Island. his waiter said he was an asshole. i wanted to punch him in his jaw, almost worth losing my job over.

Hmmm... I see people a lot in the city, but here are a few:
The guy that played Niles from fraser Walking down 8th Ave.
frank Langella - waiting for the 1 train at columbus circle
Mini Driver - hailing a cab (girlfriend needed a SAMICH! Way too thin)

Not a sighting per say, but cooler was the time that I was baby sitting for a couple on 5th Ave (they know EVERYONE - especially Broadway types). I answered the phone and it was Nathan Lane. No joke. I didn't say much though. It felt like I should play it cool.

Oh, and Billy Joel (or rather his people) wanted to rent my Grandparent's house back in the early 80's. He was in the area for some motorcycle thing. anyway, my GP's didn't know who he was, just that he was a musician, so they said no. They got a verbal beating from my dad when they finally asked who he was.
I guess that's it!

Aside, from Warped Tour and various other concerts, I haven't definitively seen anyone. But one night, my friend and I were driving around this plaza near my house (which is about 20 miles out of Pittsburgh and really....rundown?) and I swear I saw Brian Fair from Shadow's Fall walking into Macy's.  My brother, of course, didn't believe that Brian Fair would be shopping at Macy's,let alone the Natrona Heights Macy's, but who could mistake those dreads?  Not many people have knee-length dreads.  Plus, the build and face were practically identical. Anyway, that's about all.

Death was just another phase and maybe a better one. You wondered if we knew each other before.  You asked me who I thought I was before.  I said maybe a fish because I love water and you said, you thought a mermaid, maybe.  If you were a mermaid, you said, if you were a mermaid, I was the sea.
