Me too. That was definitely one of my most favorite parts of the game. I wish Beth could give us a full list of all the secrets - we obviously didn't get them all, and it'd be interesting to read them now that we would understand them better. Also, we could use them to make art...

Wanna know something funny? So I've made 561 (and counting) posts on the Shadowbox. Nearly all of those were in this very thread. I've only made a few in others, and I know for a fact that a couple of those others were also related to the game. Maybe that's not funny, maybe it's more sad. I think it's interesting, though, that my account on this forum reached Hero Member status because I was just that into this thing.

It's a difficult feeling to describe, what this game gave me. I tweeted at Beth the other night to thank her for the experience.

Keep watching this topic, guys. I've subscribed to the RSS feeds of a couple of websites that report on upcoming alternate reality games. If one pops up that I think will interest any of you, I'll post about it here. I know it's slightly off-topic, but I'd love to be involved in something like this again with all of you. I miss that surreal, trippy feeling of the lines of reality blurring, fiction bleeding into the real world. It was fascinating. I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt that way. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who misses it.

Sooo I stumbled upon an (sadly, already completed) ARG called "Purin's Lullaby" today. It is based on Pokémon, so if you're not into Pokémon then you probably won't care for it.... but don't think that just because it's based on Pokémon that it's silly. Hardly.

In fact, it is -incredibly- creepy, and as you read through all the e-mail logs and other information that's been archived, you'll find it was a pretty well-done story. Thought you folks might enjoy it. It starts in the description of this deviantART image:

Have fun! There's not a -ton- to read, in my opinion (it's not as long as this thread, at least!), and really, you don't have to read -everything-, but I would recommend reading as much as you can. I just finished up and am surprised by how much it managed to suck me in, and how sad I am now that I've read everything there is to read. And that I didn't get to be a part of it and become friends with Fire, because apparently, he still responds to people. That's pretty awesome.

it would be amazing if we could have another ARG with this album, but i understand that would require tons of energy and amounts of time from amanda's team, and this era is already beyond amazing, so their powers and energy seem very well spent as it is!

I doubt it's another ARG or even bringing this one back to life, but even if the lyrics tie in with the story somehow I will be really happy. The sample there doesn't give enough to know, and no one has the full lyrics yet.

there's a 1.30 minutes sample on itunes, but i refuse to listen to it until i get my 3rd vinyl.

btw if i remember correctly at some point olly olly oxen free was mentioned in the game, and hadn't Melody lost her wallet also? well Lost starts with the phrase "i lost my wallet".

i felt reminiscent about this yesterday so i decided to quickly browse through the pages, and i was sad to discover that most of the sites and links doesn't work anymore. thank god i'd saved many of the photos and other files on my hard drive, but still it'd be amazing if we could have a complete archive of the whole thing.

Melody lost her purse. I listened to the sample of the song but it didn't reveal much of what the song is about.

I realized this a while back as well. I saved the majority of the photos an other files too, but I really should have thought to back up the websites. I'm sure they're somewhere, either on Beth's or Olga's computer. I wonder if someone should contact them and see if we could get a hold of those, just for nostalgia's sake.
