Since my dad moved to Edinburgh 20 years and as a result could no longer practice Judaism he has worked far too hard. He still goes to the synagogue in Glasgow from time to time but now it just depresses him and he comes back to Edinburgh and works some more.
The Edinburgh Hebrew community isn't good enough for him?
(I would assume, being a large and fairly cosmopolitan sort of place...  No?)

There is only one synagogue and one kosher butcher. There is a much bigger community in Glasgow. WE just have millions and millions of catholic chrhes thanks to all the Italians!

Read some essays or speech transcripts by Kurt Vonnegut, secular humanist.

Do you need to cite the work of other philosophers to prove your point/get an A in this assignment?

Normally, yes. Right now I have over 100% in the class, so I could afford to leave them off, but it makes up for my lower grade in Algebra to have high-ass philo grades.

Yep. I am friends with mine too. That's why he's letting me do something completely different from the assigned essay....but he still wants to philosophers. :[

It isn't that I dont want to do my homework, it's that the research is giving me fits.

I can help with the algebra thing.

Awesome! I'll be sure to let you know if I need help with it then. :]
