Oh d-d-d-dear...here i am posting in this thread again-ha!
So, i had to make do with a mere 150 funeral cards because i ran out of lamination paper and my polymer varnish i was going to use as backup is old and no longer agreeable to it's artistic task...i know i had more lamination paper stashed but i think it went the way of my ex before last...i went through a 'lamination phase" and drove her a bit around the bend with it~she even threw out my laminating machine hence going manual with what i had managed to stash...what she never knew is at one point i just started laminating everything i could because she was so hot when she was miffed...hehehe and yes we were at the tail end of our downward relationship spiral anyways so why not have some fun with it!
I w2ould have bought more but my brigade budget was 10$...2.50 on a cheap costume store fedora~50 cents for a paper black rose for my lapel, and 2$ at walgreen's to print out some color photos too as I have photo paper up the wazoo and no ink for that printer...and i bartered with a cute lady at the flower store for rose petals and flowers for 2$(score!)...everything else was stuff i had left from the past few years and i'm wearing dad's old suit-huge but i am wearing it over my concert outfit so i can do a peel and go...i love when shit works out no matter what! the other 5$ is for the danger ensemble~when i get back and start my new job at the Woman's Health Clinic i will definitely send more online...going out with amanda with no guarantee of pay is truly art for the sake of art...
yes, i am rambling.
it is 5am and i have the piece packed into 2 small and easily portable then easily packed into each other bags...i am going to go load them into my car have a much earned cigarette and cocktail outside and then paint my nails and attempt to sleep...this way i can even sleep in since i only have 4 tasks before heading back to my old sweet home chicago tomorrow...
call or text if you have questions or issues...otherwise i will meet all you lovely art freaks tomorrow...oops-i mean later today.
