One of my friends who has No Doubt love with me said that there was a video of Gwen Stefani newly playing with the band again, where she kept having to be reminded to the lyrics by band members to some of their most famous songs.

This depressed me.

i disagree, but that's only my opinion.
she's always stood by what she believes in and has never forgotten her roots.
anyway my view is biased, cause i'll be a no doubt fan til i die!

I was Gwen Stefani for Halloween one year.

It's an easy transition to imagine, no?

Now that I think about it, here's my opinion about No Doubt and Gwen Stefani.

Let's get this part out of the way: She's hot. Six ways to Sunday, ya know? Musically, I like a fair bit of their stuff. She puts heart into what she sings and has the vocal power to make it work. Lot's of it is ska, and the feel of the music is positive and bouncy. When I waited tables, I looked forward to No Doubt songs popping up on the CD jukebox.

Live- Gwen Stefani did a bit with Sting at the 2003 Superbowl. After watching that hillbilly chick, Shania Twain, lip-sync through her number, it was refreshing to hear someone actually sing. Gwen and Sting were obviously pleased to be performing together and it made for an enjoyable show. Respect.

i dont really question her abilities as a musician or an artist, but she took the wrong path somewhere down the line IMO.

and she was way hotter before she got all pimped up.
