MacBook Acting Like A Bitch

My mother spilled tea on the table cloth my MacBook was innocently on, and lifted my computer right away. But apparently the underside got wet. When I returned, it acted funky.

Now the battery says it doesn't exist- even though it does run when I unplug it- and the power light AND the chord light do not work.

It also shuts itself off completely when it goes into sleep instead of waking up when I swivel the mouse.

Anything I can do that doesn't involve explaining to Best Buy this English incident?

Maybe take it apart and clean it out?
Vic says that some macbooks have the battery and turning off completely problem because they haven't been updated properly...
And just don't mention the tea.  >:D

Clean your battery like .... really really clean it, and clean that little part where the battery conects to the MacBook, after that clean the that little part where the power chord goes plugged in, clean the power chord, try to see if it works, if that doesn´t work go to best buy and say... I just don´t know what happened... or try to talk with a fake Mexican accent & scream "BATTERY!!! NO WORKING HELP!!!"

I'm using my computer without a battery. It works better this way lately. I'll put the battery back in tonight, see if it's better. I cleaned it, but it appears cleanly already.

It wasn't holding any charges.  :-\ Worrisome.


And Beatrix reminds me of Harry Pottah.
