Providence July 11 with PWR BTTM & Neil
« on: July 10, 2015, 10:32:49 PM »

Looking forward to the show in Providence tomorrow. I wasn't going to go, but after Anthony's death, I really want to reconnect with the community. PWR BTTM does a great job of backing Amanda up on Dolls songs and giving her a big sound, beyond the solo piano or uke.

Hope to see you there! I will attempt a review and set list.

Amanda played last night in the beautiful Columbus Theater with many guests. It was weird sitting and watching and not being able to dance and move around but it was a wonderful show. She was very emotional about playing her next to last show before having the baby. She played the Dolls songs with Liv Bruce, the drummer of PWR BTTM who will be joining her to open for Morrissey.

Here's the set list:

In My Mind
Map of Tasmania
Ampersand
I Want You, But I Don't Need You - Momus cover
Astronaut
Mrs. O
Coin Operated Boy
Georgia - Phillip Marshall song about his daughter
Miss Me sung by Georgia
Song with Nicholas Despo - anybody know it?
1952 Vincent Black Lightning
Neil reading "if you exist"
Other People, July story
The Killing Type
Chandelier - SIA cover
I Google You sung by Neil
Girl Anachronism
All I Could Do - Kimya Dawson cover
Ukulele Anthem

Almost forgot: Eric chugged a beer during Uke Anthem.
