I saw them play last night in Somerville and was very impressed with their live show. Olya is a powerful performer. I was surprised to realize that she is center stage, with Brian behind her, after so many years of the Dolls side-by-side. But she has the makings of a rock star and is taking the lead at the shows. They had a bass, trumpet, and another keyboard player with them and were having fun on stage. They closed with Blondie's "One Way or Another" which was perfect for Olya and the sound and the band.
