I saw Amanda in Dublin in 2010 after the volcanic eruption in Iceland caused an ash cloud. It was supposed to be an Evelyn Evelyn show, but Jason couldn't make it from Amsterdam (I think) because of the cloud, so Amanda got him by skype or facetime projected onto a screen. They tried to work around the time delay to sing together and A wrote a song for the occasion, "fuck the ash cloud".

This was also the first time I saw Bitter Ruin, who I was blown away by
