Amanda @ Webster Hall, NYC, 11/21
« on: November 24, 2008, 10:10:25 AM »

Here are some of my photos from Friday night.  Due to restrictions placed on me by the publication I was shooting for, I won't be able to make anymore of these photos public for two weeks, but if you want to see what I've got, e-mail me and I'll send you a guest pass to check out the set on flickr.

PS: Should have Philly photos up tonight.

Check these out. I felt totally special. The painting is not my best work, but I was pretty proud of it. As for the smooch, it was funny, I mentioned Atlanta, GA, and little five points (if none of you have been, it's wonderful) and all of the sudden my head is grabbed and and I'm lockin' lips. Three kisses later the final pic was taken, and I couldn't stop laughing.

The NYC, Webster Hall show was killer, If anyone got photos of our "I Killed Amanda" performance, please post them, I'd love to see how we looked.

Thanks!

Those are great. I love the video too. I wish I could've gone to Boston too, but I'm broke. *sniffles*

Did you get any photos of our brigade thing before she went on? I know people had cameras, but I can't find any photos.

I did not.

It was such an early show and I had a prior commitment, so I got there at the ass end of the B&B set.

She's a badass and smacked herself in the head with the guitar at the end of Guitar Hero.

Oh yeah it was great! She was so proud of herself when it happened. Then Beth (?) (I'm horrible with names...), was on stage dabbing the blood off of her head. It was hilarious, she was up on the balcony with everyone one second, then I blink and she's on stage tending to Amanda's bleeding head, then I blink again and she's back upstairs with all of us behind the sound booth. It was too funny. If you search flickr for it, you can see pictures. :o)

Nah dude, that was Katie Kay.  She was onstage the entire time.  And she's hot to trot.

She was upstairs for a good while actually, in between running up and down the steps next to the stage. We were standing next to Pope and Brian for a minute or two when I complimented her on her speed getting up and down the stairs.

Des, where were you?  I expected you'd be there but I didn't see you about.

Damn, I *wish* I was Katie Kay!
