I am from Queensland, but it looks like I'm not going to get to go. It's just too expensive for me to fly to Brisbane or Melbourne and buy tickets and deal with accommodation.

I'm pretty heartbroken right now.

Where in QLD are you from? Surely you can get cheap flights from Virgin Blue or Jetstar...? Also, Opera House tickets are like $35 so that's not much... and... youth hostels are cheap and easy??? =)

We're in regional Queensland. Usually we'd do that, but it doesn't look like we have the money. And mum won't stay in hostels. And we can't go to Sydney.

Mum bought a laptop even though I asked her not to (we did need a new one but you know) and that's most of our money, so I don't know what's going to happen now.

Damn. Yeah well, I'm like, in FNQ, but I managed to find flights to Brisbane for like... $75 there, $99 back? I guess having relatives to stay with helps though...

Also, I looked at the Death Cab For Cutie site and they're booked in the Tivoli on the 28th... AND it says 18+
This has me VERY WORRIED =(=(=(

Maybe Sydney will be the only option? I hope I find out before all the tickets go...

I'm still betting she's playing with Death Cab for Cutie at the Tivoli on the 28th. They are selling tix now... they are $64 each, and no mention of who else is gonna be there.

A little steep for a one band gig.... for which they start at 7.30pm

AMANDA!!!! DOOOOO EEEET!!!! Tell us at least if you're NOT playing with them. Confirm one way or the other- your continued silence in alignment with my theory- which has TOTAL merit... makes me think i've guessed right. But if i'm wrong i'm not buying tix to see them if you're playing the same date.

WOMAN- help me plan February the 28th..... puh-lease?!?! :violent1:

Its getting pretty late... perhaps she bailed on the other states and is only doing the sydney one?
Either way, it's getting to the point where it is hard to book stuff. Airfares are going up by the day :(
I think im going to book sydney tickets incase she doesnt do NZ.

Yeah. I need them to confirm this month or there is no way I can go.

At the moment I am making the assumption that because tickets seem to have already gone on sale in Sydney and no where else, she's only going to Sydney.

I hope I'm wrong.

Amanda herself said she's touring Australia, going to all cities, around Feb/March.

Yeah, I know. (My head is going "wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!:D :D")

But February is three weeks away and I really need to know soon because I found my money stash and I might have enough to go but it's so hard to organize stuff when it's that close.

Oh well. It'll happen when it happens.

Yeah... if i don't put in my annual leave request i'm not going to be able to go to ANY of the shows.

It's kinda slack to leave dates to this point really... TECHNICALLY i'm meant to give 6 weeks notice for any leave.... so i'm already pushing it.

Please at LEAST announce dates!!!
