So... anybody been to any recent shows at The Tivoli?

The reason I ask... I want to bring my new semi-expensive camera (not a dSLR though) to the Brisbane show, but I don't want to risk them not letting me bring it in. Otherwise, I'll bring my old shitty camera that I wouldn't be overly upset about losing if they have a no camera policy.

Yeh bec I was wondering the same thing about The Tivoli.  The last few times I've been there (Seether, Missy Higgins, The Red Paintings) they didn't even check small bags and if you stashed something like a camera in your pocket they didn't even look twice.  That was a fair while ago though so I'm not sure if things have changed now.

Although I did notice that it doesn't explicitly say 'no cameras' on the ticket - usually tickets for shows at the Entertainment Centre etc (where security are nazis) say that.

yeah, that's a good point about the tickets. I guess the only way to know would be to call, which I might do. But I really think they should be okay about it, unless the performer explicitly requests no cameras... and I'm sure Amanda's not into that.

Yeh that's the reason I've been given in the past at the entertainment centre - it's at the artist's request.  So I'm guessing Amanda would like us to take cameras and therefore they should be cool with it.  Actually I found my Seether ticket (yes I know I'm sad and I keep all my concert tickets  :glasses9:  ) and it said no cameras were allowed, but cause Seether didn't care security at The Tivoli didn't care.

Calling might be a good plan though if you are planning on bringing your expensive camera.

Can't wait for 1st march - counting down the days already!  :headbang:

I'm so excited for the Brisbane show! :D me and the guys will probably be getting there around 6:30, depending on how late some of us finish work. What time is everyone else arriving?

Hey Bec, my boyfriend and I will probably be arriving between 6.30pm & 6.45pm as we both have to work that day.  Do you want to meet somewhere and walk to The Tivoli together?
