Ann Coulter
« on: December 25, 2008, 04:29:23 PM »

I've never read any of her books, but I do know she shaves her armpits. I'm rather intimidated by her "image" to read her books and judge whether her reasoning is sound.

Costco had an ad for her book in their monthly magazine. How's that for having an agenda, eh?

What about you? What do you think of her? Seeing this is the Shadowbox...

Actually I will...

Coulter's Snatch- Hammel On Trial

We’re involved in a cultural war
The country’s torn apart like never before
And try as I might, I see no end in sight

I search my soul and I roam my heart
And when enlightened know the place to start
Compassion, forgiveness and communication

That would take a bigger person than me
I’m the first to admit it you see
So you ask me what I think

I think Ann Coulter’s got a cunt that stinks
Let’s engage her in debate, let’s make her deny it

Chat on Meet the Press, announce it on Fox
Ann Coulter’s got one stinky box
It wouldn’t take much to get the country to buy it

I used to be disgusted, now I’m pissed
I’m ashamed that it’s come to this

Rush Limbaugh likes to suck pig dick
swine penis for Rush will do the trick
Everybody knows Rumsfeld forces sex with tots
God bless the First Amendment, I’d be sued for libel
George W Bush masturbates to the bible
And Condoleezza likes eating pussy a lot

There are some douches that’ll never fail ya
Lest they come up against Ann’s genitalia

You take the low road, I’ll take the lower road
You’ve met your match
I admit I get a kick out of talking
‘Bout Coulter’s snatch.

You take the low road, I’ll take the lower road
I’ll end the fight
Every time you be looking at Ann you’re thinking
“Something don’t smell right”
Right, right, right, right

Ann's idiocy doesn't belong in Grey Matters.  There's nothing grey about it.

She's stupid.  She makes any group of people she might actually represent look bad in the worst way.  I don't give two shits if she shaves or not, because the bitch still stinks like old shit and cabbage.  If I heard she got into a horrible accident that maimed her badly, I wouldn't bat an eyelash.  She's a pox on society, and purely speaks derisively to capture an audience.

I wouldn't piss on fire to put her out.

It isn't....

Basically, she gets off on being a Republican/"Conservative" attack bitch.  She writes columns,
books, probably blogs... whatever, for no other reason than to piss people off.  I'll grant that
she's prettier than, say, Rush Limbaugh, but she makes even less sense.

I'm just a cream puff. I'm awful at seeing through the "brainless attack dog" image, really. What are the tactics used by people like her? I'm guessing her arguments don't have that much meat to them and she uses unjustified guilt.

Seeing this is the Shadowbox...
Seriously, here on the rather left-leaning 'Box, or in any other context...

There's reasonable disagreement among informed adults, even about fairly fundamental issues...

Then there's Ann Coulter.  I could name any number of Lefties who don't make any sense either,
but from any branch of the political spectrum, there are mighty few who can match her for spite,
meanness, and ad hominem attacks when factual arguments are lacking.

Ann Coulter is a right-wing, ignorant, bigoted nutter.

Like Pat Robertson, but female and looks like Gillian McKeith (also an ignorant nutter).

I went on her website, and she has some "interesting advertisement"

It's a T-shirt company and the two examples are:

OBAMA with Mickey Mouse ears

And a shirt saying "I'd rather be waterboarding"

Ann Coulter is everything that is wrong with the world.
I've read two of her books, it's like the Twilight Zone.
ALSO, my high school journalism nemesis was in all kinds of sickly republican love with her.
GOD, I HATE HER SO MUCH!

I'm thinking male republicans are more prone to man crushes than others. Parroting their beliefs, quoting, toting their booking around... sexual fantasies... Hahaha, I don't know, it's just bizarre.

i read how to talk to a liberal (if you must): the world according to ann coulter when i was in high school. i wrote a book report on it to piss off a teacher i hated.

i don't have a big problem with coulter. she's a little radical and abrasive, but meh... so many people on both sides of the spectrum are.

She's not radical. Radical is the term used to describe hyper-liberal people. I don't remember what they call hyper-conservative people, but it ain't radical.

i read how to talk to a liberal (if you must): the world according to ann coulter when i was in high school. i wrote a book report on it to piss off a teacher i hated.

i don't have a big problem with coulter. she's a little radical and abrasive, but meh... so many people on both sides of the spectrum are.
She's not radical. Radical is the term used to describe hyper-liberal people. I don't remember what they call hyper-conservative people, but it ain't radical.

Islam jihadists are called radicals.
Incorrectly, I'm guessing.

by definition:

radical -  of, relating to, or constituting a political group associated with views, practices, and policies of extreme change.

doesn't say liberal. radicals can be anyone with an extreme view on any side.

Hm. In my circles radical has always been associated with non-regressional change, i. e. non-conservative.

Illegal abortion is extreme change by itself.
But it's regressive.

Conservatives, in a general sense, would appear to favor regression, i. e. moving society back to where it was under the assumption that those were "the good ol' days". Liberals tend to favor a more progressive approach to change--trying things that aren't and so far have not been, under the assumption that they are bright hopes for the future.

But to base such a fight on morals and other faith-related things is regressive; that's why abortion was illegal for so long.

Ann Coulter is a modern day saint.

Please, do share.

...one of the assumptions about youth today under semi-conservative thought patterns is that they grow up too fast. I say...didn't Benjamin Franklin have a job in his early teens? By all means they're growing up slower, or the educational aspect of growing up is getting more attention.

To base things on morals is regressive? Did you read what you said by any chance, because you sound entirely backwards. Not killing babies, and realizing sex is a responsibility is not regressive, it's responsible living. Being responsible isn't partisan either, and definitely regressive. Just a note, I'm pro-choice, because I believe it's the better choice for society, opposed to wire hanger abortions. But I myself, personally, think I'm borderline pro-life. But because someone values life doesn't make them regressive. That's why adoption exists XD

Wire hanger abortions? Surely a better choice is just to legalise abortion and give people their own choice. Back-street abortions are bad news.

I wondered if Phillip Pullman modeled his Ms. Coulter after Ann Coulter...or is there a date discrepancy? She is described as dark-haired in the His Dark Materials books but the movie version has Nicole Kidman as a blonde (and he said she was his exact vision of Ms. Coulter, hm).

I doubt it...  A.C. wasn't really a nationally-known figure when the first book was published.

Now, did the film-makers model her on-screen characterizaton (Nicole Kidman and such) on
A.C.?  I wouldn't be surprised.

I saw her last night debate Bill Maher. Sat next to Solangel, coincidentally.

Ann is crazy. Insane.

However. I feel like she is intelligent and misuses it for evil. I have massive amounts of respect for her to continue speaking, unfazed by booing.

Anyone seen the news wire this week?

Quote from: Meghan McCain
I straight up don't understand this woman or her popularity. I find her offensive, radical,
insulting, and confusing all at the same time. But no matter how much you or I disagree
with her, the cult that follows Coulter cannot be denied.

Meghan, in case you missed it, is Senator McCain's daughter, and has her own blog....
The full entry is HERE.  It's an interesting read.

I read the blog. I agree with a lot of what Meghan is saying. Anne Coulter puts in the minds of many the vision of a trainwreck.

She mentions a Rob in her entry about Republicans and the Internet, but it isn't THE Rob, is it?

Then pee on her ashes.
