How does one combat accusations of "liberal elitism" from more credible sources? It's the argument and not the one arguing that I'm concerned with.

she is fascinating...... I love her dismissal of darwinism, total lack of understanding about anything she has an opinion about.... i suppose it proves that you do not actually have to know anything to have a vocal opinion

My mother reads her books and generally regards her as God in a LBD.
I tried to read the book but I got bored and just skipped to the index to find her opinions on sex.

With all that hair she would need a liberal amount.

i read how to talk to a liberal (if you must): the world according to ann coulter when i was in high school. i wrote a book report on it to piss off a teacher i hated.

i don't have a big problem with coulter. she's a little radical and abrasive, but meh... so many people on both sides of the spectrum are.

She's not radical. Radical is the term used to describe hyper-liberal people. I don't remember what they call hyper-conservative people, but it ain't radical.

Incorrectly, I'm guessing.

by definition:

radical -  of, relating to, or constituting a political group associated with views, practices, and policies of extreme change.

doesn't say liberal. radicals can be anyone with an extreme view on any side.

Hm. In my circles radical has always been associated with non-regressional change, i. e. non-conservative.

Illegal abortion is extreme change by itself.

Illegal abortion is extreme change by itself.
But it's regressive.

Conservatives, in a general sense, would appear to favor regression, i. e. moving society back to where it was under the assumption that those were "the good ol' days". Liberals tend to favor a more progressive approach to change--trying things that aren't and so far have not been, under the assumption that they are bright hopes for the future.
