Like i said... i just dont have the brains you do Sgt Katrina.
Incase your wondering my parents cant afford both piano and viola lessons so im working on just doing piano. There is no Music AP class availible to freshmen. And just because i dont take the time to sort out Your and You're (You're being you are) doesnt mean i dont know alot about grammer. Accuatlly english is my best subject but i know your about to bash that. Saying something like "well you must be really bad at all your other subjects then" Im done, this is a stupid argument. If you want an apology then im sorry.

And here, Lauryn successfully shows how the internet can be used for research and education.

Katrina, get off your high horse. A certain Ms. Amanda Palmer could play wonderful music without knowing how to actually write out what she was playing, and only recently learned how to do so, so your plane analogy falls a bit flat. I can play some music as well without having a clue as to the names of the notes that I'm playing. It's called playing by ear.

Now I understand why I am doing the same things in my English class as I have been doing since second grade........

Otherwise, I have to agree with Shawn.

There's a thread full of chords in General Discussion. You might want to go there.

How the hell did I miss all this fun the first time around?  Just some bullet notes to get things going again:

  • Chords are easy.
  • Grammar is important.
  • Figure shit out by ear.
  • I completely agree with Katrina.
  • Piano is serious business.

i have several songs that i could write out for either piano or guitar but i write them more like a simple version if a lead sheet: meaning that i will not write out the exact notes for exact parts, i write out the chords and then you can figure out the little riffs yourself (i have them memorized from learning them by ear, and it's good to practice) songs that i can write out easily are (and yes i'm aware that some are already posted) :

mrs. o
night at the roses
backstabber
sing
coin-operated boy
good day
girl A (this one is harder with tabs if you cant figure out the riffs)
missed me (same as girl A)
half jack
gravity (same as girl A)
bad habit
the perfect fit
jeep song
slide
truce
mandy goes to med school
my alcoholic friends
delilah
dirty business (easier on piano for the riffs)

i'm working on sex changes, but i've been busy lately just let me know if you want any
