I name all my pets after pets from movies or books.  I have an orange tabby cat named Crookshanks (harry potter) and two rats, Remmy (Ratatouille) and Ratter (His Dark Materials).

So the other day i happened upon a baby turtle that needed a good home, so i gave him one.  But for the life of me i couldn't think of a good name for him running with my book/movie reference pet theme.  So while listening to Ampersand, I remembered a Monkey from a comic book series named "&".  Its called Y the last man, it has a very good story, but i stopped reading it years ago.  So i figured i'd never get a monkey so & would be a great name for a turtle!
