I'm told I'm a good singer...not a musical bone in my body though.
I'm a good singer, and I can compose for multiple instrument, but I can't write lyrics. I guess it comes with my age.

Besides, if you don't try, then you'll never know! The more you practice, the better you'll get. You can also get help as well.

I've always wanted to write songs that are meaningful to me. But most of my lyrics come out very angsty, and I just don't like my angsty lyrics. Although maybe I need to get them out of my system so the more deeply felt stuff come out.

I don't think it's age, but I think you get better as you go. I'm not saying I'm good at writing lyrics... but my first few songs I hated so much, but I kept writing them until I got somewhat satisfied. I figure if I keep writing them, and get feedback, I'll be better.

Do you have any up?

Here's my youtube page if anyone wants to see: http://www.youtube.com/user/rosesandpianos

I have a lot of Dresden Dolls/Amanda Palmer covers, but three of the songs are mine, the three that don't say cover on them hah..

All my stuff usually comes out like that, too. I think I write too confession-y, a lot of it's about stuff that's happened to me or about people I know... I hope I'll get it out of my system eventually... EH.
