How do you mean?
4.0 rules are generally easier to deal with, but I think that some of their qualities sap away from the true fun of the game because, instead of making it a roleplaying game where characters are developed in detail by their players, the game is turned into an inflexible template--a formula with variable values for
x and
y and nothing else. While this makes it easier to manage, given that the characters are now more similarly managed, I think that eliminates the very, shall we say, "user-created" aspect of gameplay which I think gives the game its charm.
I guess that sums up my qualms with it. Maybe that style of gameplay works for people, but I'd much rather have complex rules than simple ones.
