Trollers will be deleted and blocked.  So, if you want to have an alternate identity, try not to do anything offensive, because your IPs will be blocked.  Again, I, personally, will not block you simply for having an alternate identity.  But if your impersonations are particularly offensive or cause considerable upset (i.e. pretending to be a rape victim or harassing others) you will likely be baleeted.

Totally. I've always been pretty trusting of people on here. It's funny, I guess I almost make certain assumptions about the nature of a person when I find out they're into the Dolls... But hey, this is the internet after all. Anyone can be anyone.

This is a general thread outlining a general board policy. It was not created for, nor catered to be used for any specific individuals.

Brittany is just stating the obvious that isn't necessarily obvious, and is reminding the posters here that this rule is in effect, should they need the reminder.

I agree.
It reminds me of what Amanda said in an interview about being a fan of The Legendary Pink Dots.
She said that once she found out someone was a fan, it was like she trusted them with her life.
And that's sort of what I believe.
When I meet someone that is a fan of the Dolls, I trust them, and, even if I don't know them that well, there is a sort of camaraderie that develops between us.
I feel connected to them on a level.
And it is only with this band.
The Dolls have very passionate, nice and trusting fans.
I think we don't take kindly to people betraying that open trust that we all have.

exactly. i really, really trust dresden dolls/ afp fans, cause it's a bunch of artistic, loving, beautifuuuuul people.
what really annoyed me is that this person out of nowhere came here determined to cause trouble.
you can't go around saying you're suicidal, have been raped, are in a psych ward, throwing shit on other people's beliefs... it's serious stuff that you simply can't mess with. some people have lived this stuff. it's so wrong...
