Jesse, first of all - WOW! So much typing and cross-archiving in there - nice one!

When you get to adding late 2008 to your other site, there was a gig at Custard Factory, Birmingham, UK on 3rd October 2008 - it got missed out of the official listings a few times. There's bound to be an accurate setlist hanging around somewhere.

AND - i dont know if you're listing smaller gigs/events but Amanda performed Point of It All, Astronaut and Coin Operated Boy at Matthew Boulton College intimate seminar in Birmingham on the same day.

for the record, the northeastern university and afterhours gig are indeed the same.  afterhours is the "nightclub" here, complete with a signed dresden dolls poster framed on the wall.
oh, and if you're most definitely doing everything that's ever happened, amanda performed a crazy fun "umbrella" at one of the org parties this summer at the cloud club, 2008/07/19.

This is going to be amazing.

Also, in conjunction with finding live bootlegs and videos - I know there were things that were recorded, but never publicly released - will this account for those too?

I'm gonna wait until it's more updated before I contribute any of the random info I know from the shows/instore that I've been to (since they arent really rare or obsecure)

3) no no, go for it. if you post it here, the post is here forever and it's recorded and it's online, and that's good.

1/1/09

Bowery Ballroom - LATE New Year's Eve Show - doors opened at 2:00am

I believe Emilyn got on stage around 3am and Amanda took the stage at 3:30am.
Amanda left the stage at 5:30am.

Support: Emilyn Brodsky with band (featuring Brian Viglione on bass)

Amanda Palmer solo show billed with the Danger Ensemble

I don't remember the order of the setlist , but here's the songs that I remember, I think all of them are accounted for -

Originals:

Astronaut
Oasis
Runs in the Family
Leeds United
Point of it All
Another Year
Ampersand
Trout Heart Replica

Dresden Dolls Songs:

Slide
Coin-Operated Boy
Girl Anachronism

Covers:
In Between Days [the Cure] (played with Brain on bass)*
Fake Plastic Trees [Radiohead]*
Tainted Love [Soft Cell] (with crowd participation)
Apocalypse Please [Muse] (first public performance of this cover)
My Favorite Things [Sound of Music]
Uh-Merica [Regina Spektor] (crowd participation)
Hallelujah [Leonard Cohen]

Stage Performances**
I Kissed a Girl [Katy Perry] (the same FUCK PROP 8 bit that Amanda did with DE in LA)
Girls on Film [Duran Duran] (this was during Amanda's "few minutes of photo-op posing" with the Danger Ensemble)

* denotes songs on ukulele
** refers to stage performances by Amanda and the DE while the original recordings were played through the PA - so these are not covers, just stage pieces.

She DEFINITELY ended the set with Hallelujah and the first 3 songs were DEFINITELY: In Between Days, Fake Plastic Trees and Apocalypse Please!

Video playlist:

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=1E3C93EDE1914778

Order of the videos in the playlist:

* Tainted Love [Soft Cell cover]
* Oasis
* FUCK PROP 8 skit with the Danger Ensemble
* Hallelujah [Leonard Cohen cover]
* Ughmerica [Regina Spektor cover]
* Fake Plastic Trees [Radiohead cover] - ukulele
* Apocalypse Please [Muse cover]
* In Between Days [The Cure cover] - has Brian on bass (the first song of Amanda's set)
* Point of it All Intro with Amanda talking about the drunk crowd
* The end of Coin-Operated Boy (where Tora and Kat grope AFP while she's playing the song)
* Friday I'm In Love [The Cure cover] performed by Emilyn Brodsky, who opened the show with Brian on bass

When people make these things they make my heart smile.

That, and if you ever work some script that tells me exactly how many times (per set lists you have) that any song I want to look up was played, well, my statistic loving self will love you.

That would require databases, database programming, etc. I started to work on a site like this back in '05 but I never finished it. I had the basic idea down but never coded it up. C'est la vie.
