okay so this isn't really about hair color but my hair has been through everything - let's see.

green greasy mess (inspired by The Joker, but not Dark Knight Joker because it was like 5 years before that movie even came out)
bright ass traffic cone orange w/ a Johnny Rotten type cut
wild flower purple mohawk with shaved black sides
white Andy Warhol cut (except it was my REAL hair and not a wig)

that's a highlights reel. The white for the Andy cut took FOREVER - it was about 4 bleaches and daily toning with wash-out toner, and daily use of leave in condition to keep it al from falling / ripping out.

here's a picture:

I bleached my hair blond for a while when I was a teenager but other than that it's always been just plain ole brown.  Or non-existent since I shave my head (or more accurately shave my head when I'm not being lazy and/or too cold to do it).

I have Sic Vicious/Johnny Rotten, mostly it is short and stand ups all over the place, I put gel in it and stands up great. I have had a Mohawk most of my life, and when I was really little and had really long hair. In the spring I am probably gonna have a Mohawk again, maybe I will dye it blue or orange.

My friend Colin wants me to have a mohawk. I don't know why.
I wanted one when I was 12, but alas, I was talked out of it by everyone I know.

*flexes* Ya think?
Anyway, I'm more in a Buddhist Monk kind of mood lately. I want to shave it to the skin bald, and use this LUSH rejuvenating  shampoo only on a stripe of my scalp, and see if I can grow a mohawk naturally. When I told my mom this theory, she did 'the look'.

was it the "my daughter's an absolute genius and I'm jealous of her glorious smarts" look?

I don't think that would work. try just shaving that stripe for a while.
that way you can at least get a little pube-looking landing strip going.

It started as that look when I was born, but it's degenerated into the "what have I created" look.

um, well, uh, that kind of had nothing to do with your hair personally so your winking makes about as much sense to me as people having "warm" feelings for Alan Rickman.

are you a neonazi of some sort?
